BOBCAT GOLDTHWAIT

BOBCAT GOLDTHWAIT – a bunch o’ stuff (1979)

The Bobcat was one of my childhood heroes, and he remains a truly funny dude. No other explanation really needed here.

In a previous post, I put up only one of Goldthwait’s old albums. Now, here’s FOUR! Dig this, found on Bobcat’s Wikipedia page:

“On ‘Hollywood Squares,’ Goldthwait was asked the question, “What does Michael Jackson do in his spare time?” and he jokingly replied, ‘Blows Bubbles.’ After the show, he was told that he was never to return, for he was banned.”

My wife and I saw Bobcat do a 90-minute set at a comedy club here in Asheville, NC a couple of weeks ago. He was as hilarious as always. Thanks for sharing this stuff. I’ve been a fan of his for years as well.

    Thanks for the Bobcat!!
wondering if anyone has recordings of him and Tom Kenny from their teen years…
it’s kind of a fantasy of mine.

    my anti-spam word was “wetton”.

Bobbycat is making his way to East St Louis next week. Too bad it’s at a casino.

Side 2 of Meat Bob still have some big ugly glitches in it. If you have the WAVs of it, perhaps you could re-encode that side? Thank you. And thanks for all the great listening.

“Is He Like That All the Time?” Is only a one-second long file, I guess it became corrupted?
