ARTHUR C. CLARKE

BBC RADIO – “ARTHUR C. CLARKE: THE SCIENCE AND THE FICTION”

As a sci-fi fan, of course I’ve always been enamored with “2001: A Space Odyssey” and its sequels (I’ve yet to tackle “3001: The Final Odyssey”, but I’m sure it can’t be all that bad.) I’ve also really enjoyed “Rendezvous With Rama”.

This doc’s unfortunately brief, only about half an hour, but it’s still a great overview of the author’s career, filed just shortly before his death in March ’08.

I love listening to stuff like this. That’s an awesome picture too.

I’ve read 3001 and it’s actually quite good. I want to fly.
