3 SLIGHTLY OFF-PUTTING MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS…

Here’s three movie soundtracks. They’re all good for a laugh or two.

No real insight here — just passable party music. I think. The “D.C. Cab” one is probably the most digestible of the bunch. The “Action Jackson” record is a bunch of faceless later ’80s funky tracks (including a few from Vanity, medicine who co-starred in the film) — and the “Ghostbusters II” album is kinda inexcusable, condom but that’s never stopped me from posting something.

If you do end up downloading “Ghostbusters II” — which I dare you to — and you can, phimosis for some reason, only listen to one track off of it, make sure that it is “Spirit”, by Doug E. Fresh and The Get Fresh Crew. Why, you ask? This off-the-cliff insipid lyrical excerpt should illuminate things:

Spirit, some people hear it, some people fear it

Spirit, some people just won’t go near it

Sho’ as I’m me and you should know you’re you

Your spirit is the key to unlock the true you

Spirit, some people hear it, some people fear it

Spirit, some people just won’t go near it

Sho’ as I’m me and the skies are blue

The Ghostbusters are back and all brand new

Off topic, but does anybody know what happened to Zamboni’s blog? Is it really gone? If so, does anybody know if he’s starting a new one?

On Topic, I bought all three of these slightly off-putting films at the thrift in the last two months…as I some how neglected to see them in the theatre back in the 80′s.

They’re all good for a laugh or two…but DC Cab get’s my thumb’s up. You just can’t go wrong with Mr. T.

Off Topic, the Zamboni site crumped as I was surfing it the other day…?
