I’m still missing the “Tribute To Some Bizarre #5″ comp. Sorry — I’ll try my best to find it upon my return to home base of Los Angeles.

Bands featured in this post include: Kitchen and the Plastic Spoons, human enhancement Rupert Hine, no rx Smersh, case Wall of Voodoo, Klinik, 1000 Ohm, Lou Champagne System, Psychic Youth and more.

    hi there–

probably a dumb question here, but i’ll ask anyway:

were the any of the volumes in the “tribute to some bizarre” series ever released as proper “hardcopy” cd-r’s, or were they only available as downloads with artwork?

i can’t seem to find a clear answer on this.

please let me know. thanks! jay

“Tribute to Some Bizarre” are mp3 only and to my knowledge were never sold anywhere as they were the product of several online (mainly slsk) contributors. The original “tribute to FlexiPop” series was, I believe, compiled by Pedro of Euroshima record shop (defunct?) and I recall seeing those CD-Rs for sale in a PDF catalog maybe 8-9 years ago. I think about 25-35EU a piece.
