I , like most people, was shocked that the Reid brothers have gotten back together for gigs in ’07. Did anybody out see them at Coachella, or at the gigs in Spain a few weeks ago?

Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate what you do on this site. Keep up the great work! I have found out about so many great bands from this site and Post Punk Junk. I haven’t listened to the Jesus and Mary Chain yet, but am really looking forward to hearing it.

There are miserably poor bootlegs in that whole realm, and it’s embarassing to know so many obsessives are continually suckered into buying them, even now. One of the worst I ever bought (’80s?) before learning my mistake was the Jesus and Mary Chain live vinyl bootleg titled Fuck. For a group that I generally enjoyed, it’s a drunk and horrible gig.
