
It occurred to me that a lot of people have heard of Negativland, but few have actually heard their music. It spans the experimental gamut, from drony minimalism to hectic overboard sample-driven rock, to savage contextual cut-ups and beyond — and it’s all worth a listen.

I’d say that the track “Helter Stupid” is their masterpiece – it’s like 20 minutes long or so and I hang on to every second.
