This is gonna be the last week where we have ECR podcasts for pro’lly a month, since I’ve just come across a huge folder of John Peel broadcasts for Finnish radio, done in-between the late ’80s and mid ’90s. I’ll be offering those up like I would my own podcasts, since I think they’re really fun, and worth having.
Track listing:
Industry – Logging Time
Josef K – No Glory
Mops – I’m Just A Mops
10CC – Sand In My Face
Pam Todd & Love Exchange – Popeye Disco
Michael Jackson/Vincent Price – “Thriller” voice-over session
Little River Band – We Two
Suzi Quatro/Chris Norman – Stumbling In
Parliament – Moonshine Heather
Stump – Buffalo
Echo & The Bunnymen – It Was A Pleasure
Mecca Normal – Strong White Male
Unwound – For Your Entertainment
The Wedding Present – This Boy Can Wait
Random Hold – Montgomery Clift

I see you posted a Stump track. I like them. My friend Ron Kane is a big fan of Stump and he proffers the theory that Stump are a band with NO FEMALE LISTENERS. Being derived from the XY tree of rock developed by Captain Beefheart. What say you, Hercules?
Can’t wait for the Peel stuff…
