The radio interview below is, medications in a word, order veryfuckingcreepy. I’ve got no idea how some Dutch radio producer convinced Van Vliet to give an interview, sickness since the man is/was notorious for shying away from the spotlight (except for the occasions when his record company forced him not to be.) Unfortunately, the person I originally downloaded the interview from signed off of Soulseek before I had the chance to grab all of it, so it remains incomplete.

    The poetry reading was originally included on the CD that came with the Don Van Vliet art book “Stand Up To be Discontinued.” It was also reissued with Rhino’s “Riding Some Sort Of Unusual Skull Sleigh” art box; both are out of print.

    The live tracks were released on the rip-off label Ozit, who deserve to lose all sales from this stuff being posted elsewhere.
